Speed  Track Roller Derby is an individual non-contact, competitive roller  sport, requiring skaters to maneuver cleanly through the pack and into a  winning position. Multiple skaters race simultaneously on a WFTDA  regulation Roller Derby flat track. A lap of the standard flat track,  around the “racing line” measures approximately 180.5 feet. Speed Track  Roller Derby focuses on head-to-head racing, requiring tactical positioning, passing, and quick decision-making.  

Check out the  Speed Track Roller Derby demonstrations between the bouts on May 9.  You will see 2-3 heats between the 1st and 2nd Bouts. Semifinals and Finals will be between the 2nd and 3rd Bouts.
